Meet Marlene...

Marlene's love of art sprouts from the deepest part of her being. Her cupcake characters are easily discerned, and well known for their colourful and unique character traits

Art has always played an integral part in her live.  With love and passion she has shared her knowledge of 46 different craft-disciplines with students eager to learn at the community center in Johannesburg, as well as various women's forums and acquaintances.

Leading bakeries often make use of her ingenuity through the creation of beautiful decorations for their most valued clients. Her love for creating these fun filled characters is born out of her love for the art. Marlene sees herself as a sugar-artist that loves to share her passion with others through her series of user friendly books.
